Ice Skating Camp

Louisville Skating Academy's Coolest Camp in Town is a recreational skating program for beginner level ice skaters ages 4 through 14.

This camp is appropriate for children who are interested in acquiring fundamental skills for recreational skating, figure skating and/or hockey. No previous skating experience is necessary.

Skaters meet daily for on-ice and off-ice instruction and fun.

LSA has a high-quality team of instructors and is recognized as an Excellence on Ice training facility by the Professional Skaters Association.

The Coolest Camp in Town happens twice a year:
Summer and the Winter Holiday break

Winter Coolest Camp

January 2 - January 5, 2024

9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. daily
Camp Fee: $180.73 per skater

Family Discount: Families who enroll more than one child will receive a $15 sibling discount.

Full payment must accompany registration. There will be no rebates, substitutions or make-ups for missed sessions. Space is limited. Payments are non-refundable.

Camp Fee: $180.73 per skater

Camp Curriculum

The Coolest Camp in Town is focused on the FUN and FUNDAMENTALS of ice skating. Skaters are divided into classes based on age, experience and skill level. No prior skating experience is necessary to enroll.

Coolest Camp in Town follows the Learn to Skate USA's Snowplow Sam (ages 4-5), Basic Skills, and Free Skate (ages 6-14) curriculums

Camp Highlights

  • 2 hours of ice time
  • 60 minutes of instruction, 60 minutes of supervised free skate/practice time
  • 60 minutes for snacks and off ice activities
  • Figure skating and hockey demonstrations
  • Camp t-shirt and group photo
  • End of camp exhibition of skills
