Skating Programs
Aspire… The Next Step
A jump start to competitive figure skating for enthusiastic beginner level skaters. Aim higher with Aspire.
About the program
What is Aspire?
The Aspire program provides a jump start to competitive figure skating for enthusiastic beginner level skaters. Skaters interested in joining Aspire are required to have successfully completed the Basic 4 level (for Aspire Youth and Aspire Teen groups), Adult 3 (for Adult Aspire group), or above before joining. Skaters may enroll in Junior Aspire at Basic 3 and Basic 4 levels.
Participants enjoy on-ice classes, off-ice instruction, and practice time, introducing skaters to different facets of the sport, including jumps, spins, skating skills, synchronized skating, and ice dance. Aspire skaters train 2–3 days per week during the LSA Learn to Skate USA sessions, with an additional off-ice conditioning class.
Aspire registrations require the $70 annual LSA Aspire Membership (or higher). Aspire Bronze class packages require LSA Full Membership. Louisville Skating Academy conducts Aspire year round during Learn to Skate USA sessions, Aspire Summit clinics, and Aspire Summer Camp.

LSA Aspire offers Junior Aspire for its younger skaters, ages 8 and under, who can’t wait to get to the rink to learn more skills with their friends. Junior Aspire is for Basic 3 and Basic 4 skaters enrolled in LSA Learn to Skate USA classes.
